Overfill Prevention Valves

Prevents overfills and fuel spillage when fueling underground tanks, which reduces the risk of fire, contamination, and costly clean-up. Only Universal has one moving part to eliminate any line shock. This valve is designed to shut off gradually when the fuel reaches a pre-determined level, preventing line shock during gravity drops. Allows efficient bottom filling of storage tanks. The flared aluminum tube rests on top of the fill pipe where the adapter threads onto the riser, holding the tube in place. The drop tube end should be placed 6″-12″ from the tank bottom, or in accordance with local requirements, and should be cut at a 45° angle.
